DAY 1 · SURGERY DAY

The operation, then a private room.

Your surgery is performed under general anaesthesia at Acıbadem Bursa — typically two to four hours depending on complexity. You recover in your own private inpatient room with continuous monitoring. A thermoplastic splint is fitted on the bridge, and light internal support is placed for the first 24 hours. Most patients are surprised at how little pain they actually feel.

DAY 7 · SPLINT REMOVAL

The splint comes off — and you fly home.

At your follow-up at Acıbadem Bursa, Dr. Oymak personally removes your splint and any internal supports. Visible bruising has typically faded to a faint shadow. You see the early outline of your new shape for the first time. You're cleared to fly home with our VIP transfer back to Sabiha Gökçen.

You don't arrange anything. A private Mercedes driver meets you at Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) or Istanbul (IST), and the door-to-door journey to Acıbadem Bursa takes approximately one hour and fifteen minutes across the Osmangazi Bridge. Wi-Fi and chilled water are on board, and the same driver looks after your return transfer.

Every operation is performed personally by Dr. Oymak at Acıbadem Bursa, a JCI-affiliated private hospital in the Nilüfer district. You spend one night inpatient followed by three to four nights of hotel recovery in Bursa, minutes from the hospital.

Once you submit the short form, you'll be offered private slots within the next seven days. The 20-minute call is complimentary, over Zoom or WhatsApp, and Dr. Oymak asks for two or three clinical photographs beforehand. The purpose is to tell you honestly whether surgery is appropriate — and what outcome would be realistic.

For rhinoplasty and septoplasty, most UK patients stay four to six nights. For functional ear surgery, three to four nights is typical. Your splint or packing is removed before you fly home, and your first video follow-up is scheduled for one week after return.

Dr. Oymak provides every international patient with her direct WhatsApp line for a full year post-operatively. If anything concerns you, she reviews it personally — usually within hours. In the rare event a revision is clinically indicated, it is included for the first twelve months under our surgical undertaking.

Dr. Oymak is registered with the Turkish Medical Association and holds a full Turkish medical licence; she is not GMC-registered. All treatments are performed in Türkiye under Turkish Ministry of Health regulations. Her licence number, indemnity cover and hospital affiliations can be provided on request before you travel.
